During the fire evacuations in Oakland in 2024, many horses and owners were unprepared for the evacuation. This clinic will help ensure you and your horse can safety evacuate during emergencies.

Monterey Bay Equestrians - Private Ride
Oct 17-20th, Sequoia Arena will be closed for a private event. The Monterey Bay Equestrians group will be using it as a staging area for a member trail ride.

MHA Hunter/Jumper Gold Cup Show
Our favorite event of the year! Join us for a practice day on Saturday, October 5th with coach Andres Ospina, and then show day on Sunday, October 6th. We’ll have the usual fun jumper classes for all levels, leadline, dog jumping, and also a Halloween costume class. Fun for the whole family to attend!

Sensory & Obstacle Clinic

Sensory Obstacle Clinic with Susan Docktor. Susan is a Competitor, Trainer, Coach, Judge Clinician and Educator with over 25 years of experience. Susan has been training Police Horses and educating Mounted Officers since 2013.
This clinic can be done from the ground and/or in the saddle. You will learn to negotiate sensory items and obstacles while creating better communication with your horse. Sensory Items Included in the Clinic:
Dancing Tube Man, Water Box, Rocker Bridge, Tarp, Noodle Obstacle, Pull Log, Walk Through Obstacle, Mattress, Car Wash, Firecracker/Gunfire Simulator, Cold Spark, Smoke/Fog, Flares and Various Sensory Items.
Clinic Fee $150 (includes lunch)
Limit 15 riders. Auditors $20
